I am Robert Looper III, a proud resident of Fort Lincoln. I created this blog site in 2013 to supplement the dearth of information circulated to residents in the community. This site is intended to be a source for all residents to receive updates for not only Fort Lincoln Redevelopment but also for redevelopment along the New York Ave. Corridor which will soon serve as a another primary retail destination for Fort Lincoln Residents. My primary objective is to provide relevant information regarding area developments, alternative transportation initiatives and community projects to create a more walkable and accessible neighborhood.
As of December 3rd 2014, I was officially elected the new ANC Commissioner of Fort Lincoln SMD 5C-03. I will continue to maintain this site as the primary vehicle for dispersing information. This site has and always will be privately paid for and maintained; views and opinions are my own.

Gateway To The City DC 
Why did you change your site? For regular visitors like me, it was always easy to log on and see the last article posted first. City Paper did the same thing and now it’s hard to find the last article without navigating through the whole site. I stop going there everyday.
I needed a way to feature important articles. Once they leave the scrolling banner at the top they are chronologically archived. All other articles are archived in the same way.
This is actually the exact same layout, it just has a scrolling articles feature at the top.
Let me know how it operates if it becomes an issue I’m open to tweaking it.
I am concerned about the rodent problem in this Ward. Where I live on rhode island avenue it has gotten worse, part of it is a vacant property.
