Starting tomorrow March 27,2016 the B8/B9/H6 Metrobus routes will now service the Shops at Dakota Crossing and provide closer bus a access to the new Residents in the Villages At Dakota Crossing. This minor modification will encourage more ridership and safer access to the Shops for all Residents, Emoloyees and Visitors who frequent the shops. We now need to modify the buses to allow for bulk storage for customers without cars.
Other modifications to the route include the following:
Routes B8 and B9 serving the Fort Lincoln community in Northeast Washington will be extended to The Shops at Dakota Crossing Shopping Center (at New York and South Dakota avenues NE) (see attached schedule) . However, there will be less service during the mid-day– buses on the B9 will run every 70 minutes between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. B8 and B9 only runs on weekdays. Bus H6 which runs every day and presently goes to The Shops at Dakota Crossing is not effective by these changes (see attached schedule).

This is good info. Thanks for the update.
I would actually use the bus if it ran directly to Deanwood Metro. Basically, it would be nice to have a bus that runs from Rhode Island Avenue Metro to the Deanwood Metro via the shops. Oh well…
