Join us next Tuesday and learn what it takes to gain employment at D.C’s first and only Lowe’s Home Improvement Store in Fort Lincoln. The purpose of this Job Information Session is to 1.)prepare applicants to accurately complete the application and assessment, & 2.) gain an understanding of the employment process for Lowe’s.The presentation will be conducted by the Lowe’s Human Resources Manager for this region. There are approximately 20 positions available, both Seasonal & Long Term, and we want them to be occupied by residents of Fort Lincoln, the greater Ward 5 Community and the city at large. There are no preference points given for D.C. Residents, however, Lowe’s is committed to engaging with the community and giving D.C. residents a fair chance at employment.
The Department of Employment Services will also be on-site to assist with providing computers for applicants to complete the on-line application from 4:00pm-6:00pm and will provide information on other Job Opportunities in the City.
Also at this event you will also be able to sign-up for email notifications on other Job Information Sessions as well as Hiring Events for other upcoming retail in Fort Lincoln at the Shops at Dakota Crossing.
